Do volcanic eruptions blast away veins of gold and silver deposits? If so, do prices of coins go up after such eruptions?
Edited to add: I noticed the price of PMs is up today and the threat of Mt. Redoubt in Alaska erupting was announced. Is there a correlation or is this just chance or is this divine intervention for those of us holding gold and silver coins?

Some of the big gold deposits in South Africa are associated with dead volcanoes.

1. Probably.
2. No. PMs are being pushed up by the fact that the USA is printing way too much
currency, thus making each dollar worth less than it was yesterday, the day before
yesterday, ad infinitum.
