PayPal question

I had a buyer make me an offer (which I accepted) for 5 MS 69 2006 W Anniversary ASE's. He states he transferred the cash via PayPal 2 days ago. Nothing shows in my PP account and he states the reason is because I haven't "picked up" the money yet (stated PP emailed him this reason)

Any opinions, similar experiences in the group??? I know bank withdrawals take a few days but I have never had a payment delayed

I told him he probably had a typo in the email he used to transfer (if at all)

Here are his words:

"paypal sent me a message saying that you havent picked up your money yet. i will have to get back to you on the other tings. i am taking a count of what i have & if i nweed any more."

When he sent the money he probably typed your account address wrong and the money went to a account that doesn't exist.

I think he 100% correct. Ask you buyer if the money has actually left his account. I bet it hasn't.

I'm not a seller but buy on ebay and site and always use Paypal. I usually get a meassge, from the seller within minutes, that they got the money.

Ask him to make sure his account, paypal or bank actually shows the money gone. If not tell hime to cancell it and send again. It won't cost him a dime.

Go to your PayPal summary page and look at the transaction. Check the second box in from the right and if it has a hyperlink for "acceptance" you need to click on it. This needs to be done for Paypal to set you up (and collect their fees) the first time you accept funds via Paypal.

I vote for "sent to the wrong account address" since I had over 15k in payments to me last year with no problems

The saga continues....The buyer just emailed me and, yes, he mistyped my account (this in an email with 3 misspellings). He now says I "have to request the payment" before he can send it....I told him to forget the whole thing since this episode is reaching 10 emails and my frustration is climbing.

Oh yes...he had a bid in for a 2006 20th Anniversary ASE Reverse proof MS69 going off this Saturday...he retracted that bid....Can you guess the reason???? He typed the wrong amount in (2 days ago)

You very well may have two profile names! Go to paypal and see which one is taking the money! Maybe?
