Funny you should bring this up. I planned on listing the below S&W on my gun forums this weekend.

It's a S&W Model 40 in .38 Special. It's got a 1 7/8" barrel and absolutely perfect for concealed carry. Made in 2008 without the internal lock. The gun has the grip safety so they got away without putting the stupid lock on it. It's nickel plated and one of the finest nickel plating jobs I've ever seen. I fired less than 500 rounds through it. The is +P rated. It is currently set up with the custom fit Ajax ivory polymer grips and Tyler T grip adapter you see in the photos. I do still have the original checkered wood grips w/S&W medallion. Gun comes in orignal box with paperwork, both sets of grips, grip adapter and 2 .38 Special/.357 Magnum speed strips. PM if interested.

    Model: 40
    Caliber: .38
    Capacity: 5 Rounds
    Barrel Length: 1 7/8"
    Front Sight: Integral
    Rear Sight: Fixed
    Grip: Altamont® Service Walnut
    Frame: Small - Centennial Style
    Finish: Nickel
    Overall Length: 6 5/16"
Material: Carbon Steel Frame and Cylinder
    Weight Empty: 21 oz.

I love your taste. 158 gr .38 Special rounds are one of the "neat little treasures" of life. As are nickel plated revolvers.

You really just have great taste.
