The DMPL market, historically

Can someone tell me when some of the peaks and troughs have been over time regarding the DMPL market? IS there any resource that has tracked it?

Thanks.....

    Peaked around 1989 I think...

I can only provide one data point. 64DMPLs sold for about $90 in 1996. The CDN greysheet people used to sell chart books, and probably have some data on DMPLs available for a price.

Back at the top of the certified bubble in 1989, I don't know what happened. I didn't even know what a DMPL was back then.

One side note is that some folks think the old standards for DMPL were actually looser than current standards and that many old green label coins would not make DMPL today.

The old PCGS DMPL standard was a reflection of 6" or more.

The new PCGS DMPL standard is a reflection of 8" or more.

Todd, I have an old Whitman book, Auction prices realised, a 10-15 year run, I think it ends in 03' or 05'......found it on Ebay for about $8 shipped......old, but might fill your needs, look for it, I see it quite often

There is also a guy that sells a Lincoln PCGS price realized email attachment, he updates for free....he might have it for other series as well.
