Are the 2010 Pres bucks getting a new Obverse?

All-

The CCAC is meeting and according to the US Mint Site: One of the items they are reviewing is below

Review reverse design candidates for the 2010 Presidential $1 Coins honoring Presidents Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan and Abraham Lincoln
* Other general business.

Are pres buck reverses changing for 2010??

Edited to reflect corrected Mint posting, for the obverse change

Thats the word. The reverse, in 2010, and now the motto in 09???

It does not make alot of sense.....Oh well, it is the Mint

I guess this is just too much to ask these days but can't we just choose a design and stick with it for a little while? Wasn't there a law at some point stipulating that coin designs had to run for a minimun of 25 years?

I hope that a new reverse is forthcoming. I don't like the reverse of that issue. The Sac reverse is much better, for instance -- much more appealing.

Are there any pics out there of the proposed designs?

Lastly, and the best yet, does this mean that the 09 issues could be more desired? First year with Motto on obverse and of course last year of the reverse design?

    The notice now says:

"Review obverse design candidates for the 2010 Presidential $1 Coins honoring Presidents Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan and Abraham Lincoln"

They must have made an error in the original release.

Perhaps the release is in error and is referring to the reverse designs for the Presidental Spousal coins.

I just dont get it. The pres proof sets are out 2/10.

WHY would they still be thinking of yet another Obverse or reverse change?

Either way, its a tad odd.

As the corrected press release noted, the CCAC reviewed candidate designs for the obverse of the 2010 presidential dollars. These include the IGWT motto on the face of the coin as required by Congress.

Yes, I saw the original , and as is in this thread, saw the corrected one. I recall that the designs for the motto on the obverse were already posted for the 09 bucks.

The press release appears to indicate that there will be YET ANOTHER obverse change other than the IGWT motto.

RWB I thought that IGWT was to be moved for the 2009 coins?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

A raise? If you call a sandwich and a warm soft drink a raise, I guess so.

I actually walked off a contract because they stated that our "lunch" which was of course, a cheese sandwich, was served with a unique beverage that was "sealed in aluminum". I then stated, "oh, you mean a can of diet coke, wow, you are all such givers......"
