Can someone explain to me why a company from outside the US can come here and get land under the mining act of 1872 ? I seem to recall that the land be had for just a few dollars per acre.
What I want to know is WHEN the government is going to stop selling our country to the highest bidder?
I apologize if this sounds political but it does have to do with precious metals.

it's an interesting story, nonetheless and more complex than the article stated.

    here is the ruling

with not much explanation. i found more info on the Barrick site vs any Indian tribal web site.
