I just had to know so I asked:

"Why should I buy from the US Mint when I can pay so much more here?"

Hopefully they have there question/answer feature enabled in the listing

I think lucky dog traders underestimates people that would bid in one of the UHR auctions. I have a In Stock and Reserved Order at the USM; however, I am buying a couple more, and paying a premium, to get a hold of some with a low confirmation #. It may or may not pay off, but any number of things could happen to limit the availability of thes coins. The mint is cautioning about up to a 9 month wait; not to much of a stretch too imagine current conditions in the physical gold demand worsening, given the financial crisis, severely limiting their ability to get blanks. Personally, 3 in the hand is better tha 3 in the bush.
