Are there any good coin shops in Jamaica ?

Been there 4 or 5 times. Never looked into shops. Something just told be that while there are many reasons to visit, that isn't among them.

I wouldn't buy a coin in Jamaica. Everybody crowds around tourists saying: "What do you want? I can get you that mon." If you asked for a nuclear weapon or a Ferrari they would say: "Sure mon, my sister's husband has one, come with me mon, I take you there." If you say you won't go they will say: "That's OK mon, I'll get it for you and bring it here, just give me a little gas money, mon."

You're going to Jamaica and you want to go to a COIN SHOP?

I have been to Jamaica, and buying stuff is about my 3rd favorite thing to do, but I can assure you that when I was there I wasn't even remotely thinking of buying coins or anything except more alcohol and suntan lotion.

Granted I wasn't even remotely capable of walking most of the time but that's besides the point.

When my limo driver from a very expensive resort on the island stopped in downtown Ocho Rios to make a heroin buy on the way to the airport (with Mrs. L and me in the back), I knew it wasn't the island for me.

Go to Kingston. Wear nice clothes. Ask where the nearest high end coin shop is. The people there are very friendly. They will take you.

Dude, there are no coin shops in Jamaica...most Jamaicans are so poor that they probably couldn't even understand the basic concept of what we do.
