Is the Mint shipping ANYTHING these days?

Let's see......I've got 5 orders for different coins on order and all of them are in limbo-land:

Your order request is on hold.

In stock and reserved.

Cancel option is still there.

Is anyone getting their shipments?

I think if you want is shipped quick you have to pony up for the expidited.

Wne I read the shipping information on the Mint's website, it says all orders over $300 and all gold is upgraded to expited for free. So why pay?

i got 3 unc. 1/4 eagles a couple days ago so yes they are shipping.

Based on the orders I have made recently, it takes them two weeks to ship you the product from the time you order it regardless of whether it says 'backordered' or not.

One item took a week longer (three weeks in total) to get shipped even though it was not backordered at the time of order.

2008 1/4, 1/10 oz uncircualted gold. 3 1/10 oz gold proof. 8 Hawaii First Day Covers just last week.

I rec'd 2 different orders of 2008 ASE's. The first box of 15 contained two 08/07's and the second box of 15 contained one 08/07

So yes the are shipping stuff, some might even suggest some very good stuff

Less than 2 weeks ago, I got my 2009 Sacs.
About 3 days ago, I got my 2008 rolls of Kennedy halves

I got this message when I ordered my 2008 Silver Set. Seems that the mint was telling me my credit card wasn't going through properly so they put a hold/reserve on the order. I had to call them, get them to cancel that order, and then give my credit card number to the over the phone. Try that and you should be set.

With the exception of the uncirc plat, I received the final backordered item which was 1/10 oz GAE gold proof. BTW, it was delivered by USPS in my mailbox, not UPS at my doorstep. The 2 uncirc ASE were also delivered by USPS and not UPS. Only thing now is to see if that plat gets cancelled or fulfilled. Then I'm current.

I had a Van Burn MS gold delivered by UPS and left on my doorstep last Wednesday afternoon. The problem is...We left for Florida early that day and the coin was to be delivered to us in Fl. I have had everything I have ordered dropped on the doorstep in the last 3 months. I think this new supplier in Indiana is deliverng on the cheap!!! Also, the tracking # for the above order eded in PARCEL POST which I took to mean the USPS. Yesterday, I stuck the tracking number in the UPS tracking site and found that it had been at my door for over a week. The lady at the mint did not have an answer to why they drop shipped it nor why it went to the wrong address. Same as always with doing business with the government. Just thought everyone should be aware of the new possibilities with mint deliveries.
