Looks like it. I am not a collector of these, but I saw one from 1919 at the Raleigh show last weekend. The dealer wanted $200 for it!

Those medals seem to stem back to the revival of the KKK in it's heyday.
Recent numbers indicate the KKK has only about 5,000 members nationwide. (Most of whom likely live one town away from me.)

The one on the left appears to be KK-208, the one on the right KK-222. There are several reference sites on the internet; the first one I found is here. eBay officially prohibits KKK memorabilia on their site, but sometimes people get away with it, and tokens like this tend to sell in the $25-$75 range.

Notice the David Duke medals on that KKK page. The KKK had to adapt to the postmodern society, where Duke had plastic surgery to enhance his Aryan features, and the KKK could no longer claim to "hate" non-whites, but instead to "love" their own race.

I have no problem with "love your own race" because we are all members of the human race.
Well there might be a few exceptions out there

Aboout 25 years ago, I was a realtor. Ugh.... but anyway....

We took a listing on an estate house, the old fellow had went to his maker and the son, who lived a few states away, listed the property. Well, Denise and I went to visit the house, a spooky 3 story unpainted relic. Lots of garbage and clutter, old furniture and stacks of newspapers. A real S***hole.

When we finally got to the attic, she said "something dosent look right here, this room isnt long enough". After some careful prying on the old knotty pine paneling, the 'secret door' creaked open.

Well. We stepped back into the 30's, and were amazed at what we saw. Desks, chairs, a blackboard, and hanging in the corner, a red KKK costume, and a green KKK costume. Piles of Klan magazines all over, and the real kicker came when we opened the desk drawer. There was a sawed off 10 guage hammerlock shotgun, with FOUR notches deeply carved on the bottom of the foregrip.

So....we called up the son, and said "I think you better come down here, and see what we found in the Attic". He said........"I think I know what you found in the attic, Ill take care of it."

Two days later, the house was broomswept clean.

I bought one of these on ebay not knowing what it was. I found out what I had through an article in Coin World. I didn't want to have anything to do with it but when I tried to sell it they canceled my auction. I thought it had historical significance and I was not promoting any agenda. I still have it. Are they allowed on BST?
