Question about BST protocol.

Over on BST, do the moderators delete a listing when the seller posts that the item has been sold in order to keep the forum from getting too cluttered up with irrelevant threads? Is there a particular way they want sellers to handle it when a thread relates to a single item and then the item is sold? I have always just went in and edited the thread title to reflect ***SOLD***, and edited my last TTT post to reflect that the item is sold. I just didn't know if there was a policy or whether it was just handled on an ad hoc basis however the seller prefers.

I don't think the mods look for this. There are enough "forum cops" around to do that!

Correct. I just change the title to "deleted" and let it sink.

So would it be easier for you if we edited the title line to say something like "Please delete item sold"

Oh yes!

..........and to be quite honest, the only reason I do catch some of them is that it might be something that I have an interest.
