How Many Different Coin Grading Companies Are There?

I think the knowledge base here is one of the best in the Numismatic world.

Can anyone give me a list of all of the different Third Party Coin Grading Companies? I know the Majors: PCGS, NGC, ANACS & ICG. What I need is the "others" that claim to be 3rd Party Coin grading companies.

Also of importance is which are currently in business and which have gone out of business (PCI comes to mind).

Thanks for the help image

Depends - are you including the "self slabbers" that pop up almost every day of the week?

Actually I'm looking for a very comprehensive list, so if you know of any (even the "self slabbers"), I'd like to know their names. The ANA has been sued byUniversal Grading Company (someone I never heard of) and the question came up as to how many different grading companies are there?

    Coinland
    COMPUGRADE
    DCGS
    Global
    HALLMARK
    ICG
    INGS
    NGC
    NTC
    NuGrade
    Numex
    PCGS
    PCI (Out of Business)
    SEGS
    SGS

Does anyone know of any others? Also, which ones are no longer in business?

Just forget about SGS. I bought a set of Lincolns on which the seller marked 20-25 grades on the
back of the Dansco album. There were 5 or 6 by SGS, all MS70!!!
