My screen shows 20 threads per page. 14 of the threads on the first page are about the UHR. Now I'm adding to the hysteria.

Sadly on this forum some folks don't want to realize that their comments can be posted in a thread already here. My guess is they delight in filling up this forum with tangental numismatic bylines. But its predictable, I wonder what the over/under will be for the number of threads.

HA! That is a good question. Off the top of my head I'd say the over/under TODAY would be 75.

I wish I could afford a UHR! Maybe some day...

To date, the most I have paid for a single coin was $400. I have worked trade deals worth more than that, but in terms of cash deals $400 is the most I have spent on a single piece and that was pretty recently. As time goes on, I find myself spending more and more on single coins. Who knows, maybe by this time next year I will have the nerve to sink a grand or more into a single coin.

I tend to be a cheapskate and buy several less pricey coins instead of getting a single high grade expensive one.

Anyone else?

Thanks Wes, I really enjoy(ed) that CBQ. I had to part with it recently, but it was a beaut. I still have Trime though...I love that piece.

FYI, we're down to 6 threads out of 20 right now about the UHR.

Actually is a sick way enjoy the multitude of threads on the UHR, its a reaffirmation of how many folks are dumber than me. Asking questions for example that have been asked and answered a 196 times elsewhere on the first page.
