Well, Friday's already taken by the dastardly Brits
Post your German or German related coins, tokens, medals or other round metal thingies
(Just let us know where they're from if it's some oddball state or local issue.)
Prussia 3Mk, 1913 - Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Napoleon's defeat
OBV: The King called and all came / With God - for King and Fatherland
Prussia, 1545
And, not German, but loosely related:
A roman commemorative of the defeat of the Alamanni ("Alamannia Devicta"). Crispus (son of Constantine) as caesar, c325.

Another coin I need to take more pics of, please forgive me for not taking the coin out of the 2X2... The purple really pops out in hand with some gold and blue to make it a true eye popper! OK, so I need to take some photography lessons
I already like this thread and will be back many more times to see the goodies that are posted!
I can't wait to see more entries from the German heavy weights here...

To the Prussian king, Pruessen, your medal is quite nice and one I would be interested in if you are willing to trade it, and Jsayre that 16 groschen is just as incredible looking. Nice coins everyone and equally good pics as well!
