All are backordered with the lone exception being the double prosperity set.

The Prosperity Set shows in stock, but I've ordered two in the past week - the first one the order seemed to process ok but I was notified the next day that it was backordered, expected ship date 1-17-09. The second one I ordered a couple of days later showed immediate backorder status, to ship 1-20-09.

The first order also had two silver eagles on it, and I have a 1/4 gold eagle unc. on both orders as well - everything now showing up as backordered.

I don't have a clue as to whether there's any chance these orders will actually be filled. It's the first time I've ever ordered from the mint, and it sure would help if I knew whether they'd ever be shipped. If I knew they wouldn't ship, I'd be prowling ebay trying to find the cheapest 08s I could find, but not knowing throws a wrench into the mix . . .

Anybody know if anyone has called the mint and gotten an answer to the question of whether these backordered items will actually be available? I haven't tried that yet, but have been wondering if anyone else has.
