anyone deal with them before?

They had a GAI 10 Emmitt Smith phone card listed as a buy it now for $14.00 or best offer with $3.50 for shipping.

I had the card on my watch list for over a month. Sitting here bored tonight, I decided to make an offer. I believe my first offer was $9.00 and was immediatly turned down. A few seconds later I made another offer for $10.00. Again, I was turned down. So, one more time, I put an offer in for $10.50 and it went through pending the seller's approval.

I checked the auction about an hour later and the seller ended the listing early, raised the shipping to $3.75 and relisted it. I guess he was pissed at me for not offering enough...I dunno

I make another offer on the new listing and again, turned down right away. I make another offer, this time $11.50 (I think) and I get turned down again LOL

I finally just send him / her and email:

A few minutes later the auction is ended early again and has not been relisted.

I guess they didn't want to sell the card after all LOL

Sellers can set an "auto reject" to reject bids below a certain level. Sounds like he had it set at $10 on the first auction.

Yeah, I figured that. The funny thing is, the card has been sitting in his store closer to two months with 0 offers. I think I would have jumped all over an $11.50 offer for a card listed as a $14.00 buy it now that no-one obviously has much interest in.

Whats the big deal? I listed a card that should easily get $14 based on its pristine condition, and didn't really want to take less than $11.60 for it. I decided to end the auction and just keep the card.
