Did Russ change his eBay id or is he no longer selling on the bay? Compucheap is no longer a registered user ???

My Guess would be he changed ID's - Maybe his account got hacked or something

Why would you change your name if you are a established ebay seller? Looks like starting over with 0 feedback cost cost some of his consigners some money.

He didn't start all over. He just changed his name.hanged his name.

Anyone Can do it. I became Carlsbad Eagle Trader from madeinmygarage, a never-made-it business venture I tried to customize and improve amateur astronomer's telescopes. "Made in my Garage" would never make it in the coin business....--Jerry

A while back I decided an ID change made sense since what I do on eBay is completely different from what I do outside of eBay. The handle compucheap doesn't really work for coins, currency and collectibles sales. Resco Enterprises has been my primary registered trade name since 1989, which is where resco comes from. The ID was actually already taken, but it was dormant so eBay released it for me. Takes 30 days, so I had them release it December 1 so I could time the change with the start of the new year.

Well, I've had the name since Obama was a dope smoking community organizer. If fact, if we go back to my first use as a mail order stamp dealer, (1981), I've had it since he was just beginning to grow hair on his chin.
