<< <i>The sigs on the "a few more pics" photo are all bad.
There is still some value in the book. The Heilmann, Lieb and Gehringer could easily be used for matting or for cut cards like Knuckles makes, and Heilmann can fetch $150-200 on a good day alone. >>
Agreed. Those cuts if certified will make for a nice profit on this considering it was purchased for a mere 50 cents. A good gamble in my book.
<< <i>PSA/DNA is going to charge $20 a sig to authenticate. Even if a handfull are "real" the owner will be out more than the books worth.
I am also suspecting that the OP actually owns the book and paid big bucks due to the defensive nature of his posts. >>
I hope it is ok to post the link to the non-collector forum where my friend posted his find to show this isn't me. I am defending a friend, you telling me you wouldn't do the same?

This will show quite clearly it isn't me, and also shows what I mainly collect, firearms. >>
Since you collect firearms, you got any interest in this Beretta 9000S I have available:
I have this Beretta 9000S Type D for sale. Beautiful gun comes with everything shown (except ammo) Magazines are 2, 10 rd's. This is a great concealed carry weapon.
I prefer face to face transaction, I'm located in Waxahachie, TX which is 26 miles south of Dallas. Would also ship, but buyer is to pay all shipping costs. I'm asking $350.00. The only reason I'm selling is that I just bought a PX4 Subcompact and I don't need two small pistols.

If only I hadn't recently purchased a secondary conceal carry handgun already I would be interested. Nice looking handgun though Mike. Sold price too. Also the wife would kill me, I already spent about $3k this month on guns and ammo.

LOL, I'm one of the most laid back individuals that you could ever meet. However, there are some really far out there fringe groups in my community, that have blogged about "kidnapping" public officials and "trying" them in their "people's courts" and "executing" them. They don't believe that the laws of the State of Texas apply to them, as they don't believe that Texas is a state. They feel it is a Republic. They file bogus liens, fill our offices with unnecessary record requests, threaten us, and basically, are a bit out there. Plus, in my job as County Auditor, some of my audits have resulted in people going to prison, losing their jobs, etc. A few years ago, minutes before a scheduled audit, the commander of our drug task force (who was one of my best friends and weekly golf partner) blew himself away at his desk as I was about to catch him using public funds for private purposes. That messed with my head for awhile, but I knew I was only doing my job and doing what I get paid to do. All that being said, the only reason I carry is to protect myself and my family in case some of the people above feel compelled to attempt to carry out threats. I love public service, but I love myself and my family more.
