I need 1962 and earlier Canadian loonies, already got the copper/nickel easy stuff. I don't need top pop, killer toned or slabbed, I'm filling one of those cool Uni-safe albums. I would like UNCs for the common dates, the toughies I would like to hear your best offers on.....
I have another consignment from "Geronimo" on My eBay.
As can be expected from this source, there is some good stuff in there; better than you might normally expect from the likes o' me.
All will be 99-cent start true auctions with no reserves.
Lots 33-48 were listed Sunday and will end on Sunday, 12/28 (which happens by coincidence to be the day I turn 43). Lots 49-64 should be listed Tuesday as 5-day auctions so that they will also end on the 28th. (I guess I'll be busy on my birthday).
Yes, I am looking for the silver dollar issues. I had not seen any references that differentiated between the two. I assumed it was a generic name for all the dollars. I'm a total rookie with these...thanks for clarifying for me Gene.
I am looking for Canadian dollars from 1962 and earlier....
Looking at the album and all the varieties I have to find, I've got a lot to learn! I did manage to pick up a Capital Plastics holder last night with the large and small bead varieties for 1965. But the only reference I have is Krause, and that's not a whole lot of help. I'll have to find a better one I guess. I did do some searching here on the forum, but didn't find anything I can use yet.

2005 maple leaf rev proof, tulip privvy, 60th anniv end of WW2 - SOLD
This is the lowest mintage of all the maple leaf issues 3,500.
(Info: A 2005 Maple Leaf silver coin with a triple privy mark honoring the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II is another Canadian Reverse Proof coin. Made exclusively for the Royal Dutch Mint, that coin was not intended for the North American market but dealers here eventually got them.
A tulip and Dutch Mint symbol, two of the marks, appear to the left of the Maple Leaf's stem; the third, the legend VRIJHEID/5-5-45, appears to the right. "Vrijheid" translates to "freedom" and the date listed reflects the day the Netherlands was liberated by Canadian and other Allied forces.
