Speeder: Understood

I've been reading threads on this board for some time, and for the last year or year and a half, I've personally noticed that there just aren't as many interesting threads as once before. I find myself skimming through the topics and clicking on very few. And unfortunately, a few of the ones that appear to be promising don't pan out. Alot of the threads may have become rote and routine. If you look at some of the members, you will find that there are a few that have made multiple posts per day for long periods of time. I found 1 member who has made 19.3 posts/day for the last 550 days, another with over 8 posts/day for four and a half years and a few with over 10 posts/day for varying periods of time. Perhaps it's getting to the point where a substantial percentage of the posts are being made by a very small percentage of the members and you're starting to grow weary. Unfortunately, I think you have outgrown this board. There are other boards where the topics are more narrowly focused. Try one of those!

And, at 0.03997 posts per day, apparently not adding much to any of them.
<< <i>I'm not complaining or trying to be critical here, just stating a few carefully worded observations. You know in all fairness, this is the "Community Message Board" so most topics should be fair game.... >>
<<< I'm not complaining or trying to be critical here >>>
Come on now...of course you were trying to be critical and that's okay. I think the bottom line is the same that happened to me...I joined in 2004 and learned a ton of information from this forum...but now I have that basic information and don't need to read the threads regarding what I already know - that's only a natural process when you're a forum member for some time. However, the current events keep it fresh for me, like the sportstalk and for example new items being presented like the book autograph thread - fake or real it's still an interesting thread to me.

I'm thinking Speeder and proofer2 imagine that things were better mostly because they were more excited at the time, and have now become bored with the board.
There may be many worthy posts posted here each day, but if they were really worthy they wouldn't fall off the first page so quickly.
Yep, Capt. Crunch was definitely better when I was a kid.
I hated Cap'n Crunch as a kid and still do
I loved Frosted Flakes and Fruity Pebbles. Still do.
Many good posters don't post anymore or have been driven away, that is the unfortunate part.

I know some of them got tired of the bickering. Some of them got bored. I have taken 2 or 3 month breaks about 3 times now.
Luckily for you guys, I always come back
