Just an update, my Dad was released Christmas night and spent the last remaining hours of the holiday with us at home. He currently has four stints in place and is doing fairly well. Thank-you everyone who included him in their prayers and for re-assuring me, as well. I hope you all had a great holiday.

Glad to hear that he's stable. Four stents is a lot of coronary blockages. By day, I'm a software engineer developing imaging systems for cardiac catheterization. It's always good to see that what I'm doing is going to good use (even if it's the work that a competitor is doing, I guess).
  • ryan, most excellent news!!! merry christmasimage

  • Please accept our most warmest of regards. It's been more than 25 years since my dad had his first stroke. We know your heartache. God bless. We hope for the best. K-

That's great news Ryan. It won't take your Dad long to get back to normal. My brother is camping out at the coast this week, just a month after his heart attack and stint put in place.
  • I will pray for your Father and I hope everything works out for the best

The gReat Lord and our heavenly father work in ways that bring us back to reality. God Bless your father. As I lost mine this year the memories last for ever but if I had one more chance there are a few things I would do with him. Yaha
