Please say a prayer for Lyla-Update

I am not on here very much. More of a reader than poster. I have had dealings with some of you so I want to ask a small thing. My four month old daughter has been in the hospital for about ten days with an undiagnosed illness. She has been given a pleathora of tests and the doctors have given us everything from neuralogical disorder to botuilism. The strongest opinion has been one of several chromasome disorders. The prognosis for those is grim with lifespan of two years or less. I ask you all to say a prayer for Lyla and hope she doesn't have any of these horrible illnesses. Thank you all and god bless you.

ALL, Just wanted to update all that responded to my post. Lyla came home from the hospital yesterday after three weeks. She is still on a feeding tube but docs decided to send her home so she wouldn't catch anything else. (She got RSV in the hospital. It's a virus that 99% of children get and is no danger unless you have a compromised immune system or premature baby). She is doing better and the doctors are saying that she has botulism and not the horrible genetic/chromasome disorders they originally said. The treatment for botulism is to let it run it's course, which it is doing. Long story short, thank you all for your prayers and kind words. It was kind of cool that the day I put this original post up she started doing better. thank you all again.

When we as humans have a problem that is bigger than ourselves, we need to give it to those that can take care of those types of problems. If this is a GOD size problem, we need to give it to GOD and let him take care of it. All things are possible. ---Sonny
Thinking of you and your family... hoping for the best.
We are going to our Evening Christmas mass at church in a couple of hours. I will add your daughters name to our prayer list for our mass tonight and I will be sure to pray for her as well. Please keep your spirits up and stay positive and I will also pray that our Lord gives you the extra strength to be extra strong for your family.
Our 3 month old had a serious case of MSRA staff infection a couple of months ago at only 7 days old and the MRSA went away with a medication cream that wasn't suppose to work. Although our daughter's staff infection is nothing compared to what your daughter might have, I can't even imagine what you and your family is going through right now.
Please keep us posted as I know all of our members here are very concerned for you and your daughter Lyla.

Just prayed for your family and your daughter. Praise the Lord who is all knowing and loving and that He heard the outpouring of prayers. I prayed that He might provide healing to your daughter and give wisdom to the doctors who is helping her. Also prayed that He would be a source of strength and extra faith to you and your wife. There is a verse that really encouraged me when things are tough, I am going to share it with you. It's in 2 Corinthians when apostle Paul was going through a lot of pain and he prayed to Jesus. Jesus answered Paul in this verse "My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Did they give you any clues as to how she contracted botulism(sp?)? Seems like such a random thing.
