Has anyone ever seen a "Heritage" graded coin like this?

Who is this? I don't think Heritage has any grading of their own?

Another grader? image

Seriously I don't think so, some one would have to give him a lesson in full split bands. image

It is not affiliated with Heritage auctions. There is another recent thread posted by a Heritage representative, wanting info. on these slabs. Link

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.

ok, if there is one thing that makes these 3rd rate grading services really 3rd rate its the overgrading of coins to rediculous highs

    Jay,

Here's where you can get more quality HCG coins! This seller has about a dozen or so listed in the special HCG section of their ebay store. They also have an ICCS section. Now don't all go at once! image

We would, of course, expect you to start with the 'syrup' of this series...

I noticed that the seller of these "Heritage" coins is located in Canada. I wonder if British Columbia was chosen to avoid getting their butt sued off from the "real" Heritage.

I think it might be difficult to copyright the word "heritage", but it's a little bit out of my field of professional expertise. image

They are just begging for the HNAI lawyers to come a-callin'. Cheap way of getting immediate legitimacy from a fair number of buyers. They could do it with "Superior" as well if they were much of anything these days. (Hope they can regain some ground, but I even forget they are still around most of the time.)

I picked up three proof nickels for $1 each off of ebay in these. The seller threw in a SGS with a 1970d quarter in it.
Interestingly the slabs seem to be the same. So, maybe they changed their name from SGS. They are all graded 70.
