Ditto, can't place it though. I say 62 obv, 63 rev.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear
I bought this coin on eBay about a year ago for $350. The seller's pictures were quite dark, but
there was a return policy, so I put in a strong bid. When the coin arrived, I was ecstatic, color
freak that I am. Pretty sure it was cleaned, but the retoning is so spectacular that I really don't
care. The coin is strongly PL, and the colors float and radiate like a jewel. My only half dime and
a total keeper!

<< <i>wow, i graded it 62/63 >>
You weren't alone! Always tough to grade from photos. The wear is much more apparent in hand.
I remember this coin from ebay. (Was it really a year ago?) I was outbid but had a feeling it might look really nice in hand. The seller's pics didn't do the coin any justice.
Nice pickup.
PS - I would have guessed MS-62.

Actually, I checked my records and the auction closed on May 30. It just felt like longer ago...

The way my 2008 went.....that's at least a year.
<< <i>can you photograph it at an angle to show the luster breaks? >>
Sure, I'll put that on my "to do" list...

even if it's a year from now, it would be cool to see!
