I recently sent Mark Goodman some of my favorite toned coins to be photographed,
and will be presenting them in a series of "Guess the Grade" threads. All comments
welcome.

Grade is revealed on page 2.

Decent toning for an Oregon which often comes with great toning. I'll say a 65.

MS-65, Nice coin. If the luster is better than the image suggests, then MS-66.

Actual grade: PCGS MS65

I bought this coin from greattoning on eBay in an NGC 65 holder in March 2003. Including the
crossover fee, I'm into the coin for about $325. Not too bad for a colorful gem example of one of the
nicest commem designs. I really love the coin in hand.

BTW, I think SpaceMonkey is correct that the indifferent strike probably limited the grade. The coin
does have excellent luster, and I think it's fairly graded.

By the way, I think this may be the first coin I've posted where the average of the guesses was higher
than the actual grade.

The reverse is the limiting factor, i'll guess it's a 65.

very nice, I was thinking MS66 but could not tell on amount of luster on coin
