1878 8TF Prooflike? Harshly Cleaned? What?

OK, I need some help here. Please tell me these are die polish lines & not a good scrubbing with a brillo.
It's nicer in hand, very prooflike - the reverse is possibly dmpl. I don't know... I have not looked up the vam designation
just yet, but it's got doubling everywhere. The date, the obverse left stars are tripled, Liberty, the reverse all over the place, etc.
Any thoughts and/or help as always are appreciated.

If not the above, it may have been tooled (i.e. the cheek) to remove bagmarks.
The heavy die polish I see on my Morgans stays in the fields, does not carry into the face, wreath, etc

The frost is also skeptical in my mind also ...
those are not die polishing lines.
no doubt about it.

To show it you'd need a close up showing that the lines are not raised but from the pic I'd be pretty sure they're not raised.
A good way to practice saying something positive, when negativity prevails.
I've seen Morgans that have been screwed with more than this.
Wish I had a good example of a pic with die polish lines, but don't know of one.
