Hey Russ, I am going to buy a coin you have on ebay and....
send you some crap I have in trade based on a value I pick. How are you going to deal with it?
(don't worry I am not really going to even try something that lame)
What would you do?

I'm sure the CU Forumites could come up with some doozies. ha
1) Make a new eBay account. Gotta have that zero feedback.
2) Pick Russ' highest price item. Start by asking inane time wasting questions. The questions must be long and wordy, but otherwise obvious and simple. Timewasters. Study "chinglish" before composing these questions.
3) After a sufficient dialog, bid way way over to assure a win.
3) Wait 9 days before communicating. No, no. Twelve days. It's Christmas.
4) On the 12th day, ask that the item be shipped to an uncomfirmed address.
5) Send a bunch of ballistic rolls of prez dollars as payment. Assume they are worth twice what you can get them for WRME. Sorry, ten times. Valuable gold, that is.
6) If those come back, use a charge card. Even if they don't come back, use a charge card anyway. The pain is not over.
6a) Do a chargeback on that charge card. Do not leave feedback before doing this chargeback.
7) SNAD. (item significantly not as described)
8) Finally, come over here to the PCGS forum. Establish an account. Start a new thread complaining about how horrible this "Russ" eBay seller has been.
I'm sure I am missing lots of things. This list of evil was based only on experiences Russ has had in the last month. I suspect that the man himself could write at least 20 steps to eBay/PayPal pain.
This reply should not be intepreted such that one should actually do this. Hopefully, folks have sarcasm detectors. Some do not, thus the warning!
A more serious thought:
I always thought that there is a risk of dealing with bad actors in both retail as well as eBay. And that the eBay centric complaints are very similar in concept and quantity to the issues one gets as a non-eBay dealer. But it seems that I'm getting more exposure to eBay bad actors on this forum recently. Is eBay really getting bad relative to other ways to sell, then? Or is retail in general getting bad as well?
Send him payment in winnie coins
He should love that.

How long before ebay figures shady buyers can have their way on ebay?
