Local Kmart has buy 1 get 1 free UD blasters

Had to search for some more Bakugan toys (yuck) and checked out the cards. UD Masterpiece and UD (prospects or rookies, don't remember the exact name) buy 1 get 1 free $19.95 for the two boxes. I snagged some Masterpiece, beautiful cards IMO.

    Definitely a good deal, but I don't think I have ever opened a masterpieces retail blaster that had anything other than base cards in it.

    Nick - I opened one box and got 4 of those goofy "Yankee Stadium" cards and one Jersey card, the rest were base cards. I've never gotten an Auto card from any blaster of any type I've opened. I have probably opened 25+ blasters of different types this year and nada. I figure the luck is better spent on someone that really enjoys those. I'd like to hit something one time, but it's fun just the same.

    Two for one is a nice deal!

    Have pulled autos from blasters a couple of times,
    but no doubt hobby boxes are the way to go for the best chance of getting the good inserts.

    I remember when I was a kid, we used to call the place 'Came Apart'. Their slightly more upscale now than they were in the '70s!

    I just grabbed 4 boxes (two packages) of the 2007 UD Masterpieces (couldn't resist the Ripken box cover), and pulled zero inserts. All base cards. I did pull like 7 Ripken cards, so that didn't suck. The other blasters for sale are the 2007 UD Future Stars.

    I had to get an ink cartridge for my printer so I went to Kmart instead of Walmart. They had a huge display of cards that weren't there the last time I went in (about a year ago). I resisted due to lack of sufficient funds. Don't get a paycheck until Wednesday. I sure hope they are sold out by then.

    There's an old saying at the horse racetrack which applied to me that the bettors there "Improve the breed" which is a snide way of saying they don't make any money, but they sure help feed the horses and that helps provide future horses maybe better horses, hence improving the breed.

    Well, I just got back from Walmart, opened this box which contained drek, and hence made my contribution to "Improving Topps" - and I'm sure they'll be more contributions to Topps in the future. LOL

    I just got back from Kmart and I'm not really sure what I bought (2008 Upper Deck "X" baseball) buy 1 get one. I don't really collect Modern card, can someone tell me what I bought? It says there is an average of 1 game used memorabilia card in every box, on average. What card or cards should I be looking out for in this set?

    Those are some pretty cool cards actualy. Well worth the $20 for two blasters. I will put up some scans later.

    Wow, Im sorry I got suckered into this one. These appear to be Upper Deck's two boxes of base cards taped together. I would skip this garbage. No odds
    on the package means Upper Deck is just selling base cards that are worth nothing. Save your money and time!
