Need help with a grade (Prussia Coin)

Looking for a grade for this coin so I can value it. My Darkside grading skills are very meager. Let me know what it grades and what you think of the coin. Thanks.

I'd say strong EF-AU detail, but what's going on in the obverse field behind the bust? image -Preussen

looks like it has been harshly wiped, at least behind the bust. As common as these are, I'd call it melt value or just a little more, due to the cleaning.

I'm not sure. It may have been wiped or something image
  • Nice coin no matter how you look at it. Seems to have some pitting on the eagle side. Still a nice coin though.

I suspect this coin had been cleaned or wiped at one point which means it will only be about $25 above the gold melt price if at all. They are common coins, but well loved.

This looks like a nice coin overall. It still has the details intact, but its off grade, so its not worth a premium above the gold value.

i've got a handful of those in that condition if someone here is willing to pay me $25 above gold melt value. Heck, i'll even take $25 above SILVER melt value! image

Teller had a really choice 1913 NGC MS66 that looked much better than the former PCGS MS66 that I used to have. I've been looking for one since I sold the "dog", but alas someone beat me to it over the holiday.

I never saw it; I haven't looked at Teller's site in months. The "dog" wasn't one you sold me, was it? image -Preussen
