  Are you buying the coin or the holder? If you buy a brown coin pay bro^H^H^H money appropriate for the color.

  Eye-appeal, eye-appeal and more eye-appeal!!!
  
  As an example, there are mint state brown Lincolns with eye-appeal that is simply out of this world. Throw out the price guide for these pieces as they typically will command significant premiums. In addition, they often sell at prices higher than red-brown pieces of the same grade.

  If it's PCGS remember the guarantee. Okay they don't use their own FMV guide when returning money. But it does offset the cost of the coin...that is if you're certain.
  
  I'm two for three on downgrades this year. And PCGS has been wonderful about it. But I am shocked they let slide a '12 63RD Lincoln that was definitely RB. The grader left a handwritten note that said "enough original red for MS63".
