Oregon..........Same place as the last two years...

The Salem Numismatic Society will be holding their 52nd annual coin show during Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29th and 30th. The hours are from 10 AM to 4:30 PM each day.

Directions: Take the Market Street exit from I-5, milepost 256. Proceed west and turn right onto 17th street and travel about a mile to the fairgrounds. Parking and admission are free.

Coin dealers will be plentiful 100 or so tables, maybe more, coins will be priced to sell, I know this for a fact..

This is usually a good show. The dealers and collectors are in a friendly mood after stuffing themselves with goodies the day before and adding a couple of inches to their waist line. For the second year in a row I cannot make it. The boss lady has me working again.

If Salem just moved a little closer to me, I'd be all over it.

All I know is that a certain Oregon vest pocket dealer will not sell me his beautiful 1813 Bust Half Dollar for what I am willing to pay. image
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
