Finally got a Littlefield reverse negative!

I can honestly say getting the '82 Fleer John Littlefield reverse negative is a dream come true because this card was always out of my price range when I was younger (and I've collected reverse negatives since Dale Murphy made them cool). It used to be a $200+ card but they've leveled to the $40 range (which is what I paid). The seller must have hoarded these because as soon as he sells one another one pops up. I think this is the 10th one he's sold. Props to him because this card is MINT.

    Cool! I remember looking through all my 1982 Fleer cards when I was a kid.

    Congrats man! I've always wanted to pick up a nice one. I have one but it's like vg-ex. I bought it at a show for $5 so I couldn't pass it up, but I want a nicer copy.

    Great pickup! I've got a soft spot for all the 1982 sets, and would love to build a master Fleer 1982 set with all the errors.

    are there tons of errors beyond this one? I know 81 was a horrible year, but were there 10+ in 82 Fleer?

    There are three Al Hrabosky variations. I think the rarest lists his name on the back as "ALL", instead of Al, and I think the other one has his pitching the wrong way

    I was lucky enough to pull 2 of those cards from packs all those years ago. I remember almost choking on my lunch when I found how much they were going for. I remember getting full book plus (over 200 bucks) for each of those cards at one of the early nationals.
    I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

    I wonder if it is still possible to pull one from a pack. I mean I know it would have to be from the "early" run of '82 Fleer packs but I wonder if enough survived to render a shot at getting one.

    If my memory serves me correct, they made it into the rack packs? Thats the only one I remember anyone saying how they found one.

    I never opened rack packs. My 2 Littlefields were pulled directly from wax
    I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

    And you're not at all concerned that with such a "rare" card, the seller seems to have an unending supply? It's hard to tell from the OP's scans, but I think a louping of the graphic elements (framelines, letters, etc.) would be prudent to see if they are the result of rescreening a genuine card.

    That was my immediate concern as well. Make sure the stock is identical and get a loupe on that card.

    One has been scanned raw and one in a penny sleeve + top loader...I'd be curious to see them both raw.
