Hey! Who beat the crap outta Miz Liberty???
I don't mind problem coins if the price is right, or if there are otherwise positive attributes to the coin.
Each of the 3 coins below is munged in some way, but I picked them up as spares just for the heck
of it. The most expensive of the three was $59, so it's not exactly breaking the bank.
1835 Half Cent. ANACS AU50 Details. Looks like Miz Lib's pimp thought she was holding out on him.
Actually, I think it's closer to AU55 or AU58 details, but perhaps ANACS doesn't make that fine of a
distinction on problem coins and only uses the major steps?

1850 Half Cent. Raw. Dug coin? F/VF details net G. It's a shame, because the 1850 is the
toughest (IMO) of the braided cents... only 39,812 minted (there were fewer 1857s minted, but I
think more of those were saved).

1828 Half Cent. NCS VF Details, Scratched. 2 digs to the left of the bust and a few in the
reverse fields, but not overly distracting IMO. Attractive color.

Heh, what can I say, when things are slow at the local dealer, I start looking at things I normally wouldn't, just cuz I gotta have a fix!

Hm. I'll resist the urge to go on at length.
