<< <i>#1 looks cleaned and the rim nick constitutes damage in my opinion. The other look... OK. >>
It's in a PCGS holder. CC Gold in PCGS holders never sells below bid, regardless of how fugly it is. It's usually bid + 10% or 15%, sometimes much more.
I rarely bother to look at Teletrade because prices are usually much higher than I want to pay. That being said, there was a proof I missed last night that either was a bargain or the market is slowing.
"#1 really looks like it shouldn't have been put into a holder " Why not? Rim dent? Damage? Arent all coins other than modern from the mint coins damaged? What makes that "hit" so important as to not get slabbed? Tell me those Morgans that are loaded with bag marks shouldn't be graded either. What is the difference?
They certainly were not a rip, but did seem slightly low. All are common date CC $20's. The 83 looked like the pick of the litter. This less than attractive NGC 74 CC $20 was in the same auction. 74 CC $20 on Teletrade Note: None were mine before or after the auction.

#2 is $75 over bid after the BP
#3 is less than $20 under bid after the BP.
None of them are a rip based on the Greysheet. Thin margin for someone looking to resell.
