ebay`s Online Payment Policies.....

Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone is going what I am going through? I have quite a few of my buyers asking me for my address to send a check or money order. What do you do and how will ebay catch something like this. Thanks,
Dan

I believe that you can accept the checks and money orders if they were unsolicited by you. I'd just ignore the other reminders.

I've had 3 such requests for coins for sale tonight. I have no problem with money order payments

I get multiple inquiries every day. This is the response I send to all:

Effective Oct 20th, eBay prohibits sellers from offering checks or money orders as an option. BUT, in typical screwball eBay fashion they are sort of allowing it with a goofy "seller can't ask, but buyer can" policy. Bottom line is that as long as I can get away with it, I will accept mail payments from my customers.

If you win, though, you'll need to remind me so I can provide my address. eBay is stripping out the seller address from invoices.
