Bought ten so called unopened 64 proof sets

Paid $15.00 each and all ten are Accented Hair with only one having a milk spot good or bad deal in your opinion.

  • Here's 4 of them I'll take a closer look in the A.M. a couple look real nice but no frost that I can see, sorry for the lousy pics but I'm using a scanner.

Edit to add: Momma's callin so I gotta go, I'll post better pics when I get home from work in the aftrenoon.

  • the best way to tell is actually on the reverse... hard to explain w/o a pic, but those rays coming out from the eagle either go through the stars or there's a split. look it up, that's the easy way to tell.

here's one currently on ebay after a lil search...notice all the action right above his ear and the profound wishbone....this is what i'd be looking for...but it's gotta be frosty

I'm 99% sure I see the hair on all but the bottom right. I think it's hard to see because of the lighting... at some angles, the light will greatly accent the wishbone; at others, it may obliterate it. Since these look like scans, I believe the problem is the latter.

Sorry, not even close to being worthy of a "YOU SUCK!"
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • I learned something today.....I'll have to check the 5 "unopened" sets I opened 3 years ago. image
  • I remember sets coming in the mail when my friends grandpa got them from the mint and none of them were sealed shut, am I missing something on these "sealed never opened proof sets" I always thought it was just some kind of marketing thing. Still at the price and condition you got them it is a great deal in my opinion. regardless of "sealed never opened proof sets" great findimage

None taken, I haven't had time to take pics (scanner does a lousy job) but no frost on any of them one might go PR69 but I'm working double shifts until Monday and won't get to look at them again til then.
