Is this ANACS slab for real?

I've never seen one like this before:

20 Center

Is this an older slab?

I've seen a couple of those ANACS yellow ones on eBay and thought the seller just juiced the color up a little in PS which turned the slab color hue different along with the coin. Guess I was wrong huh? image

  • The label reads "EF 45 DETAILS", and CLEANED, so the coin gets a yellow label, instead of a bodybag.

  • They started using the label on September 26th. Cameron Kiefer has a thread about it.
  • Just for comparison. The marbled blue and the gold...

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I think authenticating problematic yet collectible coins is good for the hobby for a # of reasons!

At least a buyer knows he is buying an authentic coin as opposed to a replica.

May not be PCGS caliber but still a neat old, AUTHENTIC US coin!

AND as for color schemes - fuggetaboutit.

I prefer the original, small White ones all day, every day!

Key = authenticate coins - they're ALL worth somethingimage

The yellow label does not mean its a problem coin as illustrated above.

And just for the record, ANACS always slabs problem coins as "DETAILS" in lieu of a Body Bag.

ANACS's new marketing slogan: "Buy the color, not the slab, or the coin!" image

If I say something in the woods, and my wife isn't around. Am I still wrong?
