Once again in the money but not good enough for first.

Good season, it was a frantic last month with a lot of back and forth between 4 or so teams trying to get in the top with the standings changing daily. Fun times.

I dont know, last year everyone outside the top three just bought a card or paypal'd 20 bucks to one of the three winners. i think the scale was either

I have a card in mind to donate to the cause. I think last year we offered up the prizes to the winner first, then second, then 3rd...

As far as beyond the top 4 paying attention goes...I was definitely not paying as much attention as last year, but I did look nearly every day and update my team. I just wasn't into it as much as last year.

My team was the Bayside Bears. I think Twin City Phantoms was Leiascards.

I'm not sure what his ID is on these boards, but Red Sox Suck (Brian) has been emailing me and is already planning on sending me something. Sorry if I jumped the gun on this one but wasn't sure how the prizes were going to be handled.

I dont think its a problem at all setting up the prize yourself, you did get first after all.

If one of the non winners has any vintage baseball they might want to give away as a prize, im down for the taking. Doesnt need to be graded.

I finished 8th. So I owe someone some cards. If the top 3 guys post what they collect here, that might help. Also, if an item pops up on eBay that any of you guys want, and is within the $$ range (~$25-30), I don't mind hitting a Buy it Now. just let me know. Cash was also an option last year. but cards are more fun.

Last year, I (kind of) organized the prize situation. I sent emails to the owners thru their Yahoo! IDs and thru the PMs here on this board. Eventually, we got it all taken care of last year. Except for 1 person who was not invited to play again this year. I just made a list like this and let guys fill it in as people came forward and volunteered.

Generally, I'm working on the HOF and Future HOF registries in Baseball, Football and Basketball but I've got a long way to go on all of them. I'm not trying for super high grade either so there are a lot of possibilities here. Thanks!

Sounds accurate. I think since 1st place has 2 guys stepping forward with prizes, and 2nd has one, maybe PM the 3rd place guy. I don't think it's written in stone.

EA: I think you can just pick one of the winners and PM them. Maybe you can take a look at what everyone collects (at the bottom of page 1) and see if you have anything that fits their collection best?

These guys are either pending or it just hasn't been confirmed by one of the winners that they sent a prize:

Leaiscards - said he was going to ship to Mikey's Meatballs after he looked thru some 60s baseball for him
bearkat - working out a prize with Mikey's Meatballs. should be all square this weekend
EAsports - offered, but I'm not sure anyone took him up on the offer. Since fuj has 4 and Mikey has 2, this should go to bigfishce.
ArnyVee - ugh....

Winners, please offer updates when you can so we can get this wrapped up.

I'm not sure what to do about Arny. I'll try to get in contact with him. If we don't get anything from him, that would leave the prizes at:

1st place - 4 cards
2nd place - 2 cards
3rd place - 2 cards

I know that's not what it should be.

Someone welched last year and the 1st place person (me) got shorted one card. Last year, djspann did a first class thing and sent me a nice vintage card, even though he was one of the winners. Thanks again, Doug.

I haven't received it yet, but Brian (Red Sox Suck) did email me to let me know he had it packed and ready to mail - he just needed to get to the post office. Will confirm when received.
