Texas Tech is undefeated and just beat the #1 team, their second ranked opponent win in a row. Penn State has played one top 25 team all year. PSU has had a nice year, but TT should be ranked higher now.
KU demolished K-State but that didn't get them back in the top 25. Just shows how far K-State has fallen, can't get any respect for beating them anymore. They're headed back to a pre Bill Snyder brand of football.

The reason they're #2 in the polls is schedule pure and simple, and not just the schedule they've already played. They have #9 OK St and #4 Oklahoma their next two games. Are you going to seriously tell me they shouldn't play for the national title if they win those two games and go undefeated? Hey, I like Penn St, but no freaking way. Not in a weak Big 10 should they be ranked ahead of Texas Tech.

This is all from memory so a bit cloudy but texas tech had a chance to spike the ball with the clock in the mid to upper 20s and I was surprised that they did not do it. On what turned out to be the winning TD to crabtree, i'm surprised they didn't take a short gain and kick for the win. Perhaps because of their 'out of the stands' kicker. It will be interesting to see how things pan out. FWIW I haven't played a hand of online poker since November of last year, so I don't have any 'skin in the game', as they say.
