Indian head cent - 1908 PR65RB.

Mintage: 1,620

This coin has a strong campfire red with mirrors reminiscent of a the glare of a setting sun over water.

BTW, if an IHC is graded MS/PR6xRB and it starts turning more brown....when is it considered BN???

Is there a percentage of Red to Brown before it grades BN?

It is at less than 20% that it turns brown. I will have to send this off to mark. It is a true RB at about 35% red.

Man that coin is easily (more) RED/brown. I cannot imagine it changing in
the holder to brown unless someone really screwed with it before
grading.
