Does anyone know the value of an 1846 Seated Dime in AG3. Its in an ANACS holder. I think it has a shot at G4. Original surfaces.
Thanks!
                Thanks!

Buying top quality Seated Dimes in Gem BU and Proof.
Buying great coins - monster eye appeal only.
Hopefully this worked...
I would suspect $150 is a good retail number for the coin.

<< <i>Thank you. I had thought that the value wasn't very high, but the PCGS guide has a G4 up at $550 for good so I had to wonder. >>
I think the PCGS price guide is $85 in G4.
But I think for that date all the price guides are "out of touch".
This coin was always harder to find than the 1844 especially un-messed with.
OOPS! You're right. I was looking at the half dime prices! Thanks!
Ziggy29: <<A nice problem-free 1846, even heavily circulated, will probably blow away published sheet. As mentioned, this is a considerably tougher date than 1844, but doesn't have the hoarding and the "Little Orphan Annie" hype associated with it.>>

Possibly worth another 20-50% in a PCGS AG3 holder. In a PCGS G4 holder maybe $300-$400 range.
