If you are looking for the link on the 'Coins: U.S.' page (which is where I've bookmarked and where I used to hit the opt out link), you may have to go up a level to the 'Coins & Paper Money' page, that's where I've found it the last few times I've tried.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

On many occasions, I've opted out, and the darned thing comes right back, so I have to opt out a second time before it takes.
Pretty soon, ebay's gonna feel some heat from a competitor. They can't keep doing this stuff to their customers and get away clean for too much longer.

The one attribute I dislike about the new search utility is that after you select something from the list of searched items and then return to that list, you always get popped back to the TOP of the list.
It makes for a lot of needless and useless scrolling.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Yeah, I think that's a function of the SECOND ad they put in that runs vertically, or at least it seemed to start happening at the same time. The best way around it is to right click auctions you want to view and select "open in new tab". Then nuke that tab after you're done with it.

"You are currently testing eBay's new search experience. If you prefer, you can opt out of the test. " (Opt Out is actually highlighted on the page)
I found it under US: Commemorative listings.
It disappeared for me a few days ago, but today it is back, and I've opted out once more.

I just opted out about 3 minutes ago
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
