For those suffering through this crappy economy....

Let me pass along my apologies but........there are some really nice coins coming onto the market for some very attractive prices.......image This is a recent Ebay purchase and this thing is flippin amazing in hand. I do have sympathy for those struggling as I just went through 2 years of heck myself but a new job has turned things around from me and I am making up for lost time.

Not that it's top secret but why did you link the auction? image

I dunno. I saw the post. Thought the coin was fabulous. Was curious about the coin, auction and cost. I figured since you mentioned Ebay it was okay to investigate the auction and link to it. I'll be happy to take down the link (in fact, I'll just go edit the post now). No offense meant. You got a really good deal on a beautiful coin. For all my Ebay browsing, I never find sweet deals like this! Nice job!
  • No I wasn't offended and like I said...It wasn't top secret as I mentioned Ebay so no worries....was just curius is all. I will tell you that their were 3 offers made on that coin before I hit the BIN....I don't have a clue what the other buyers were waiting for but I know a great price when I see one so I jumped on it image

Think I just won this one: image

    1910 MS-66 RB (NGC) (CAC).
A splendid Gem example, mostly brilliant at the centers deepening to brown toward the borders with pink and blue iridescent highlights.

  • That Morgan is beautiful.

Someone graded it down due to toning??????

No face nics. Congrats to you. He did not make a mistake in the price. I think he needed the money

    My guess.

It nice to see that you have some disposable income now. I'm not sure of the premium for the toning, but it is high. It's about double the PCGS guide which is high in itself. BTW, it is a beautifully toned coin.

I don't want to start nothing but that coin looks oven dried. I wonder if PCGS would grade it nowadays.

But it's a beauty no matter if it is AT or NT. image

Your not starting anything stating an opinion image

I will tell you that I would bet money that if this coin was submitted 100 times to PCGS or NGC it would grade 100% of the time as the coin exhibits classic bag toning.

I'm seeing a bunch of nice stuff coming to market at reasonable prices, the hardest thing is figuring out how to spend my (very) limited budget on the assorted bargains.

  • That is a really pretty Morgan.

    nice pick up.
  • Shane, great pickup !! It is very tough to find an '83-P with that kind of color.
I would have bought it myself if I didn't already have (3) 1883-P dollars.
And as any experienced specialist could tell immediately, that coin is 1000% NT.

    Best,

  • Sunnywood...I saw the 1883 in your primary set and it's probably the best on the planet...but I think this coin gives your second and third stringer a run for the money image Of course ownership does add a few points image
