1878 VAM 14.8 "Spiked Eye" Cherrypicked!

Believe it or not folks, I cherrypicked an 1878 VAM 14.8 at the recent annual coin show in Lenexa, KS, of the Johnson County Numismatic Society. I sent the coin to PCGS the following Monday and am hoping it will grade out at 53/55. I've got my fingers crossed because of a couple of scratches on the obverse hoping that PCGS will be a little tolerant because of the rarity of the coin. The coin should come back to me around Election Day.

Will PCGS designate the VAM on the insert? At FUN last year, we were told that they would be expanding their "Accepted" list beyond the "Top 100" and "Hot 50", but I haven't seen anything published to indicate that they have updated the list.

Please update us once you get the coin back and take lots of pictures and post so we can see thir rare coin.
Thanks

How rare is this 14.8 Spiked Eye? And how about conditional rarity for the one the OP found?

PCGS has graded 10 total with 1 in AU and 1 in MS.
NGC has graded 4 - I don't trust their attributions
ANACS has graded 17 - only 1 in AU
A VAM 14.8 in PCGS-53/55 is worth about $2,000.
A 'regular' 1878 8TF in AU is worth about $60.
