can i call PCGS and update my submission?

i just sent in some coins a few days ago, they haven't even cashed my check yet.. i sent them a nice 1909 S Lincoln, but i forgot to note that it's an S/S. they won't look for it unless i point it out, right? what should i do?

    Which PCGS coin # did you use on the form? If you didn't use 92434 or 37642, then I'd call to see if it could be resolved.

    Yes, you can contact them and have them address errors on a submission.

    However, if the value of the coin changes substantially based on noting a different variety they may not grade it at current level of service. Also, if variety research is required to annotate the slab then you will have to cover the cost as though you submitted the coin with variety attribution.

    Be prepared as there can be an additional cost.

    They will grade a coin based upon the service level you decide.

    If you submit a coin that is a variety at a standard service level it will be graded and returned to you without the variety noted. If you do not pay them to study your coin for a variety then why should they?
