Very cool half dime from a very cool forum member

For a short while now I've been on the hunt for problem free, crusty circ-cam, VF/XF'ish, eye appealing half dimes to fill the holes in my Library of Coins half dime album. I was lucky enough to stumble into this 1854 half dime in conversation with LordMarcovan. He was gracious enough to trade it to me for a handfull of good ole American greenbacks. I think it's easily the most attractive Seated half dime in the album so far. As a bonus, when I got the coin home and inspected it I noticed that the date and both arrows are heavily doubled which does a little to add to the coolness factor.
Thanks Rob, I appreciate the cool coin from a very cool dude.

Took about 50 tries. I was nearly ready to kill someone when all was said and done.

I knew nothing of it either. Once I saw it a quick PM to MrHalfDime proved informative.

Nah, never been a big fan of those. Now if you want to talk small, we can talk about my other numismatic love besides half dimes..........type 1 gold dollars. Measuring in a full 1mm smaller than those silver 3 centers they are the smallest regular issue US coin ever made. Now that's cool!
