NTC vs PCGS and NGC

I sent an NTC slabbed MS66 to PCGS and it came back as expected, MS64.

I'm wondering if this is the norm for NTC

This is a true story.

I bought an NTC 1913-S Saint on eBay 2 years ago....graded MS61.

I cracked it out, sent it to PCGS.....came back an MS62!!!!!

One of the better deals I've done for sure!!

That's about what I thought. There a dealer in Holbrook, NY pushing these. "In 15 years I never heard of anything like this".
They haven't even been in business for 10 years.

They lost numistrust.com about a year ago (and removed it from the slab inserts). The Numistrust website is still at ntccoin.com, where it is pretty much never updated, except for submission information.

I once had a 1795 Flowing Hair half graded NTC VF20. Sold it to a dealer who considered it a 'problem coin.' A couple months later I see the same coin in an NGC VF30 holder...
