My First Half Dime

I bought this coin with the intent of putting together a nine-coin year set of capped bust half dimes. I enjoyed the look of the type and the history behind it (human-powered screw press and all) so much that I expanded my collecting goals a tad. Anyway, this is the evil beast that started it all. 1829 LM-5, common die marriage.

Amazing!
This is like seeing Ben Franklin's first kite, or Thomas Jefferson's first ink pen

I think so. I wouldn't sell it or even try to upgrade it.
Of course, drop an insane amount of money on me and the coin would be replaced.
otherwise, NFS
Very nice.

that's the beauty of a 58! You get the 63 (or better) look with a touch of luster breaks for a bargain price (relatively)
