How do you interpret the phrase "a great album filler" in listings?

How do you interpret the phrase "a great album filler" in listings? To me, it seems to imply that the coin wouldn't slab. How do the rest of you interpret the phrase?

I interpret it to mean the following-
"You will need to replace this coin later on."

Fillers usually have little to no nutrional value, hence it has little or no value to a collection.

    Cull or close to it.

it has a problem of some sort that makes it great for an album.
you do not have to worry about damaging it more and ruining the
    value.

    All glory is fleeting.
  • The coin might not reach a grade worth sending it in for. If it looks like AU and the greysheet says it is worth less than what you would spend on grading fees. Like I have a 98 wide AM that looks like it might grade a ms60 maybe AU and if it was graded it might be worth all of $3 but I would have a bit more in it , so it is worth more as is RAW.

    The translation I get is:

"This coin is such a dog that it barks, a P.O.S. that I need to dump on someone. Now what kind of B.S. can I use to make it go away? Oh yeah, "A great album filler"."
    When in doubt, don't.

"Will not slab, and you will want to dump it in a few months just like I am"

    Sound about right?

It's just cataloging fluff, and has zero cognitive meaning.

"This coin be crap, mate". Never buy one, it's always a waste of money. If it's a nice filler they should put in their album, if they don't that would imply.. never mind... image

I think it depends upon the coin as some of the varieties, for us low income folks, can be nothing but fillers!

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
