1) Raw coin
2) Minimal description
3) Tilted, washed out photo
4) "No returns" policy
5) "We know nothing about coins" disclaimer
6) Auction ending during the day on a weekday
7) Excessive shipping charge of $9.50 on a coin priced under $200.
Put all of that that together, and you've got prospective bidders running for cover.
However, I just love the 1867-P Seated half dollar as an underrated sleeper date in the series, and I could not resist bidding. I got lucky this time, and probably paid less than 50% of what the coin will be worth once it's in a PCGS holder. I grade it AU50, and it's totally original. I could see this being an old-time XF45, but it has luster and extra nice toning, and the head/hair detail is too sharp for the XF grade range.

<< <i>This is the third "gambler's special" Seated half in a row where I got lucky, actually. The others were 1853-O in XF45 and 1847-P in AU50. It's only a matter of time before I get a bad one. >>
3rd times a charm.....be careful next time. Of course with your windfalls, I guess you might can afford a possible mishap. Hope you keep on rockin' and rollin' with these though. Great coin!

Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Whoa...that's pretty......
Just hope the burn is not too bad when it comes.
